Currumbin Gold
The photo was taken late afternoon at Currumbin Rock looking across to Palm Beach. The plastics are a creation of Cherie Noble and at her request, I participated in the shoot. All objects are plastics and have been collected from both beaches (Palm Beach & Currumbin); washed; disinfected; undercoated, then painted gold. This picture for me shows how ugly plastics are, and then at the same time can look attractive and shiny. Sadly, plastics are damaging many ecosystems @unsynthetic
