Ngorongoro Crater is one of the biggest/most delightful surprises I've encountered on my travels. From the top, the crater looks barren. Drive down into the crater and you'll discover it is a stunning, unique place teeming with wildlife. The landscape of Ngorongoro Crater changes from one area to the next, an abundance of varied terrains to take in. Ngorongoro is truly worth exploring. Definitely one of the highlights of my 5 weeks in Africa.
