The sunrise showed promise so I took my camera and headed to the East of the Island of Jersey and took this photo as the sun popped through the morning clouds. The Tower is a 'stone tent', usually cut-off from the main Island, but it can be reached by foot at low water. You can just see the refuge tower which is positioned half way to the tower in case you have the misfortune to be cut-off by the tide. It is a Ramsar site of significant importance and is home to a multitude of sea creatures.
