My second night - out alone on the island of Tenerife to fight the cold. I scouted various places, before I found this amazing spot. Mount Teide, 3,718 m (12,198 ft) heigh, shimmering in moonlight next to the illuminated Orotava Valley. You couldn't hear a whisper, it was just me, the moon and this surreal, orange city scape.
