There is a sentiment of connectivity between living creatures for me in this photo. I love the juxtaposition of the old woman and the young kitten. For a brief period, this stray kitten had found comfort and home in the lap of this woman, who to me, had a look of deep comfort about her, as though she was completely at home within herself.
