I am an actress and a playwright and I love live theatre. Sometimes a play can be a spiritual experience. The audience comes together in a communal way, to laugh together at the comedy of life. Or to cry tears of sorrow when they see their story on stage. I love the character of Pierrot, the sad clown, the brokenhearted one. I am inspired by his resilience to try again. He strives to find love and faith. It reminds me of a verse that God is close to the brokenhearted. I have faith in that.
