    Reported by:

A Marine with 2nd platoon, Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, dons and clears his M50 gas mask amid a flurry of CS or tear gas released from a grenade during a live-fire platoon attack on Range 10, Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii. I donned my mask as quickly as I could before the tear gas could reach me. Some Marines weren't so lucky. But that's why we train the way we do. to be ready. Despite the gas mask, the gas bleeds right through sweaty uniforms and makes your body sizzle
