After spending the better part of the post-dawn hours taking pictures of Moose, a healthy rain shower settled in at Brainard Lake in Arapaho National Forest, Colorado. The sky alternated between sun and cloud but when the light shone through, it created this massive rainbow over the lake and in front of Mount Audubon. It was a gorgeous scene, one that is pretty typical in the high country.
