Edit Photo Details Committment in Monochrome
This shot came near the end of a modelling shoot I was doing. We'd done all the scripted poses, and I was looking to get a few extra shots in. I asked the model how she felt about monochrome (black and white), and she liked the idea. I posed her in shadow to heighten the contrast between light and dark, and to represent how athleticism is a solo pursuit; you either do the activity, or you don't reach goals. The starkness of that truth is I feel, highlighted here.
