The school I work at had the pleasure of hosting a group of Tibetan Monks. During their stay they created a peace mandala as an offering for unity and peace. Our students had the experience of seeing the patience, determination, and compassion the monks had in creating the mandala. In the end the mandala was sent to the wind during a chant for peace ceremony with the kids. These photos document their process and the love and back bending work it takes to create this work of love.
