    I was at the Texas Welcome Center and stumbled upon this gator sunbathing. At first it was hidden in the marsh, until it noticed me. It then moved forward into clear sight, as if protecting it's territory. Each time I moved it would open it's mouth wider and when I stopped it would close it. Perhaps it was begging for food, or showing off it's pearly whites......
