Workers string new prayer flags at the Unesco World Heritage Site known as Boudhanath Temple. It is located 7kms outside of the Kathmandu central area and is a rite of passage for Buddhists from all countries. It is frequented by Tibetan's & Nepali's alike (by the hundreds) on a daily basis. It is tradition to circumambulate (always counter-clockwise) it's base three times to demonstrate your devotion to Buddha. Masses of tourists descend upon it daily, particularly on full moon occasions.
