This is Stinker, a 2 year-old male white-tailed deer. Stinker earned his nickname because he was always in trouble as a fawn. He, his mom, and his sister (and now their extended family) are frequent visitors to our backyard. On this day, my son and I were hiking on the Erie Canal path when Stinker decided to poke his head out and say hello. He is easily recognizable by the dark stripe down his nose.
