This was taken in the dead of winter , my friend and I decided to take a walk behind our village to photograph stars. We were standing waiting for the shutter to close when we caught a glimpse of a flash in the corner of our eye. As it was a 30 second shutter we both stood with excitement waiting to see what it was (you can see his shadow). We were ecstatic to see that it had caught a perfectly timed shooting star... how long has it traveled through space to land perfectly in my frame!.
