There is something about barns this time of year that puts me in the mood for Halloween. Perhaps it's those "Children of the Corn" films, but I think it's something else. When I was in high school, a friend invited me to a Halloween party his church was hosting, We arrived at the top of a hill and were told to wait there. A few minutes later a hearse arrived and one by one we were blindfolded and put into a coffin in the back for a ride down the hill to - you guessed it, a creepy barn.
