    The Crescent Lake (Yuegaquan 月牙湖) is located at Dunhuang (敦煌) of Gangsu Province (甘肅省), China. It is a famous lake in the oasis of the Gobi Desert. Cable and French had visited this small lake and gave a narration about it in their book, The Gobi Desert.
