I spotted this tiny tunnel of snow clinging to the hillside high above the trail on a hike in the Mt. Baker area this summer. Illuminated by the last rays of the day, this little crawl-space of a cave looked like just the spot to cool off and get out of the sun for a second. The air inside the cave was incredibly refreshing, but the real treat was being greeted by this perfectly framed vista of Mt. Baker when I turned back to face the entrance of the cave.
