    This is a replica of the Dutch VOC ship "De Halve Maan". It was the pride of the Dutch East India Company, the Halve Maen. Become known as the ship with which Henry Hudson in 1609 started looking for a new route to the East. It is now lying in the Historic VOC harbor of Hoorn in the Netherlands.
