The Palouse Hills
I lived in the Palouse Region in SE Washington for several years and early to mid summer was my absolute favorite time of the year there. The hills were awash in green and every morning and night you could watch the light bounce across the hills. This photo was taken from Steptoe Butte near Colfax, WA.
