Caring for Baby Gecko
Uninhabited for several months, our house in Martinique became a home for various wildlife, including spiders, frogs, bats, crabs and geckos. This tiny creature was found nestled between the glass top and bamboo frame of our dining table. Over the following days, I tried to gradually introduce him to his natural habitat by taking him out onto the terrace at first and then into the garden. My parents and I even caught flies for him and gave him rainwater to drink.
