I visited the origin of the Ganges and stayed overnight a few kilometers below at the Bhojwasa camp around 4000m altitude. I woke up at 4 am to see the the stars, how the sky is without any light pollution, how they are from that close where I have not been before. For my luck the Milky Way was just divided the scene.
