The Chameleon
This fascinating reptile, famous for its ability to change colour, seemed almost as curious of myself as I of it. Always keeping one eye fixed on my position the Chameleon slowly made a complete, albeit jerky, U-turn, allowing me to capture this image. Chameleons are masters of disguise, highly adapt to an arboreal existence. Not only are they capable of colour camouflage but also move in a fashion which mimics leaves dancing in the wind.
The Veiled Chameleon, native to the Arabian Peninsula.
