The town of Lerwick, and capital of Shetland, seen here in the late evening sun, and taken with my new wide angle lens that gives an interesting perspective. Shetland, although in Scotland, owes a lot of its heritage to Norway (the Norse name is Leirvik), especially as Bergen is closer by air than many mainland Scottish towns. I stayed at the Queens Hotel, in the background, the bathroom of which had a window right over the water.
