Lucknow was known as a `city of Nawabs’. While the culture of Nawabs have almost died out, traces remain. One such feature of this is grocery vendors selling items on street. This one is `Basmati Rice’ vendor. He bring Basmati Rice (extremely good one) from his village (located some 100 km away, but he stays some 20 Kms away from city). He comes every weekend to sell rice. Calls out `Basmati Rice’ 3-4 times when he covers 10 meters on cycle. He is 70 and has been doing this for last 20 years.
