This photograph was taken in Marovo Lagoon in the Solomon Islands - one of the world's finest doublebarrier-enclosed salt water lagoons. It is well-known for its dramatic scenery, with local inhabitants travelling up the down the mangrove lined lagoon in dugout canoes.
