    When launching conditions do not fall within an acceptable spectrum, organizers at the Adirondack (Hot Air) Balloon Festival will instead hold what they call "candlestick glow" - basically, pilots showing off how much fuel their tanks can hold in a fiery display of good cheer and just a touch of bravado. I caught this distracted glance which adds a bit of mystery to the commotion everybody else is completely absorbed with.
