The Joy of Holi
Every year tens of thousands of people flock to the tiny town of Vrindavan in India to celebrate Holi. The famous Bakai-Bihari Temple sees chaotic scenes as pilgrims drench themselves in colours and become totally immersed in the spirit of love and devotion. In among the madness of the excited crowd, this man turned to me and in a brief moment of calm gave a smile that summed up the genuine affection of the day.
