    Reported by:

While sitting in my living room, I looked out the back window and saw this Kestrel sitting on my back fence, eating some animal. Grabbing my camera, I went out the back door and using part of the house as a blind, I photographed this event. A short time later the Kestrel flew off. The camera was a Nikon D 7100 with a Nikon 80-400 mm f4.5-5.6 lens. The exposure was 1/160 sec at f7.1 at ISO 800. Image by Brian R. Braye
