The Wanderer
An eye-catching Monarch caterpillar feeds on milkweed in the afternoon sun. It's brightly colored skin radiates beauty, but also serves as a deadly warning to predators. Milkweed contains poison that is transferred to the caterpillar during feedings, making the Monarch caterpillar itself poisonous.
