On this visit to the park I had the most breathtaking experience ever! A lion ‘kill’ next to the watering hole, the lions were lying about three meters to the left of the giraffe. There was also a massive crocodile in the water and while watching, a herd of elephant arrived. The matriarchy of the group immediately moved towards the lions trumpeting, the matriarch moved right up to the lions and the dead giraffe moving her trunk up and down along the body, she wanted to make sure it wasn't alive!
