I have a tall Jakranda tree in my backyard which is always full of many bird activities. The image shows a Shikra, the hunting bird with a prey it has just hunted.Very sad to see though it is a rule nature. Here the Shikra is seen with a leg of the prey in its beakwith a torn body of the prey.I am always watchful for all bird activities on this tree which has given many opportunities for excellent emotional images. The image shot with Canon EOS 1000D camera with EF-S 55-250mm lens.
