After a nice surf session on the south shore of Oahu, I hurried back to my volkswagon van to grab a camera before the sun set. My Nikonos III was loaded with Kodak Portra 400 and even though there is no metering I've had enough experience shooting these shots to get the settings close manually. I positioned myself with the jetty between me and the sun and just waited for surfers to finish their session. This shot came together on it's own and luckily I was in the right spot at the right time.
