    Reported by:

South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, Africa boasts some of the most amazing opportunities to see Africa's gentle giants up-close; however, overpopulation within the game reserve has begun to threaten the biodiversity of the ecosystem - transforming once lush lowland forests into dry open savannahs. As a result, authorities have begun the controversial culling of a set number of elephants each year despite their disproportionate distribution and uncontrolled poaching throughout the continent.
