A photography friend and I, Bill Bouton of CA, were driving from High Springs, FL, to the panhandle to look for a certain bird. Lo and behold, along the way, we may have found our best photo opportunity as the sun rose alongside Hwy. 27. A surprise scene appeared around a corner near Mayo, FL. A pasture had been flooded by recent, heavy rain. A low spot embraced the water and oaks, and the rising sun kissed the landscape as a delicate mist danced in the daylight.
