Every spring and summer the baby doves that have hatched in the nests tucked in the grape vines on my patio take their fist flight and find soft landing spots. Safe and secure in flower pots on a french baker's rack they peruse their surroundings. There is always a male and female. The male, in the back, has the curved beak and rounder head. Welcome to our world dovies.
