This tired wood stork felt comfortable enough to take a nap in my backyard. I have a canal that runs through my yard and he was busy before this picture trying to dig up some food in the mud on the shore of the canal. Then he flew up onto my lawn to rest in the warm sun. He visits my yard regularly and he can often be seen napping in the grass.
