On the outskirts of La Merced in Peru, is the Butterfly Farm and Animal Rescue centre where this little guy lives along with other recued jungle animals which stay here while they are rehabilitated. Some remain here because they won't survive back in the wild, while others are released. It is always sad to see animals behind bars, even when the intentions are good.
