    December, 2012. Common Myna bird is a species with such a rapid increase in range, that it has been declared as one of the world's most invasive species (by IUCN). It is omnivorous and can feed on human waste like the one in the picture, which was taken on the shore of Ganges river in Varanasi. The colour match of the bird among the religious waste caught my eye. But not all animals are easily adapted - the freshwater Ganges dolphin species is facing habitat loss and extinction..
