    Saraca thaipingensis is a tree species native to southeast Asia. It has yellow flowers, borne on old wood, and is grown as an ornamental for floral effect. Their upturned flowers have clusters in yellow, orange or red. The trees' flowers have no petals, but contain brightly colored sepals, and have stamens projecting up to eight inches long. The flowers are gently perfumed
