A mouthful
Finding food in the winter is a constant struggle for all animals living in Yellowstone. Bighorn rams are no exception. Grasses growing on steep slopes, where these animals prefer to live, are hard to access and when covered with snow not easy to find. This ram found a good patch of grassy area where with the help of his front legs he can scrape the snow layer and graze on his findings.
