Up at Friday Harbor Labs, WA a sun star (Solaster stimpsoni)climbed up the wall of its tank to have its bottom half exposed to the surface. It seemed like a great opportunity to take a photo of the underside of a sun star. Instead of flipping one over, this one did all the work by itself.
