Thinking
When I go to the gulf stream, I think of Hemingway's Santiago who rowed this water in a skiff to catch a blue marlin. How times have changed. Today, his catch is a vulnerable species. And, I can't imagine rowing a boat in the gulf stream that runs hundreds of feet deep and travels four miles per hour. Creative license? Still, not so long ago, my grandfather kept as many grouper as he could catch and there were no regulations. The gulf stream is a good place to think while we troll.
