Every year as part of our family tradition, mom goes through the many steps to prepare and bake fruit cakes for the family. She takes pride in tradition and the recipe was handed down from her mother along with the apron she wears to remind her of those special times. She has carpel tunnel in both her hands from many years of cooking and knitting but she is still unstoppable. My sister and I are watching so we can carry on the tradition at some time in future. Thanks mom for everything you do!
