    People from all over China traveled to Beijing, to Confucius Temple, for higher education. When they completed their studies, their names, towns, and provinces were carved in tiny lettering into the front and back of massive stone tablets, some of which are over 10' tall. There are over 100,000 names beginning in 600 AD. This young man was the first in his recent family to receive a degree, but he knew that his great-great-great-grandfather's name was carved into these tablets, somewhere...
