Northern Jackson County Alabama
Looking down on North Jackson County Alabama from the "Walls of Jericho," the latter a popular hiking trail. I had driven by many times, but always in summer (I live in Missouri), so only in Nov of 2015 did I see the turn off. What interests me--over and above the natural beauty of the place--is from this mountain you can look down on where my paternal second great-grandfather, Laban Dow Parsons (1839-1885), settled in the 1860s with his growing family at Estillfork Alabama. A beautiful spot.
