With the perfect storm of rain, an umbrella, a flash, and a cooperative kiddo, we headed down to the water for a little lighting fun. We caught the last few drops. 8:06pm Birch Bay, WA

What a great adventure. I love the empty beach, just before full dark. You often hear complaints of not wanting to go out in the rain, but those that can brave it know it is a magical time to shoot. Great silhouette and light through the umbrella. I'm glad you shot from the side and not straight behind. Cheers to more adventures!
