A Pink Ladybug climbing up a tree trunk. Pink Ladybugs are a beneficial insect that overwinters in dead leaves and mulch. I was weeding around a tree one day in late autumn when I disturbed a cluster of them. I took the opportunity to snap a few photos before they settled back in for the winter.
