Head of a trumpeter swan. He was so curious. He followed me everywhere, and here he is looking right into my camera. Taken at a little pond located outside of Heber Springs, AR. A flock of about 200 swans fly down every year from Wyoming, Montana, and Canada from Nov. through March to winter over in warmer climates. It's a strange occurrence, they tell me. Usually, these lovely creatures prefer colder climates. This was a phenomenal day of shooting.
