This picture of a Short-eared Owl was shot on 1st Dec, this year, while on a birding trip to the Little Rann of Kutch in India. We (myself and a friend) were crawling towards the owl and suddenly my friend scraped his elbow. When he stood up the owl was surprised that we were so near and it took-off. That's when I clicked this one.
