    While on a ranger-led talk under the hot midday sun in Grand Canyon, a small group of us caught sight of what first looked like a big black wide umbrella gliding straight towards us. We alerted the ranger to it and he excitedly announced that this was in fact a condor! As it got closer, we saw that
